The Guangdong  Heshan Recycled Paper and Papermaking Wastewater Treatment Plant has a sewage discharge capacity of 15000t/d, using anaerobic (IC)+oxidation ditch+Fenton process. The average COD of the effluent after biochemical treatment is about 240mg/L, which fails to meet the standard of COD ≤ 50mg/L in Table 3 of the "Water Pollutant Discharge Standards for Pulp and Paper Industry" GB 3544-2008.

The total nitrogen concentration in the influent is high, the total nitrogen in the effluent does not meet the standard, denitrification is not thorough, and the ammonia nitrogen is relatively high
