Polyaluminum Sulfate Description

Polyaluminum sulfate has a strong adsorption capacity and excellent decolorization effects, outperforming traditional inorganic water purifiers. When added to wastewater, it forms large flocs that settle rapidly and filter efficiently. It is widely used in purifying drinking water, municipal sewage, and industrial wastewater. Polyaluminum sulfate has strong adaptability to water sources, remarkable purification results, low dosage requirements, minimal corrosion to equipment and pipelines, convenient operation, and low purification costs.

Product Advantages:

  1. As a flocculant in water purification and a medium in textile dyeing, polyaluminum sulfate coagulates impurities, facilitating easier sedimentation and filtration during water treatment.
  2. When dissolved in large volumes of neutral or slightly alkaline water, polyaluminum sulfate forms colloidal aluminum hydroxide (Al(OH)₃) precipitates. During fabric dyeing, this aluminum hydroxide colloid enhances dye adhesion to plant fibers.
  3. Polyaluminum sulfate is also used to adjust soil pH value, as it hydrolyzes to form aluminum hydroxide while producing a small amount of dilute sulfuric acid solution.

Water Treatment:

Drinking Water Treatment: Used in purifying drinking water to meet national drinking water standards.

Industrial Water Treatment: Widely used in industrial water and municipal wastewater, treating effluents containing lead, chromium, cadmium, sulfides, etc, to achieve discharge standards.

Mineral Processing: Purifies overflow red water from flotation tailings, and the treated water can be reusable.

Industrial Applications: Purifies wastewater from papermaking, printing, and dyeing industries. It requires minimal dosage with excellent decolorization effects, and the treated water can be reusable.
